Supporting Digitalization Efforts, Tabeyan Village Provides Devices for Malaria Cadres

MALARIA PERDHAKI–JAYAPURA. The Tabeyan Village Government has provided support in the form of mobile phones for malaria cadres.
Nicolas Gaya, Head of Tabeyan Village, stated that this facility aims to support the operational work of malaria cadres.
“This is to ensure that data collection and reporting from the field can be more optimal. It is also expected to accelerate malaria elimination efforts,” said Nicolas.
Words of gratitude and appreciation were expressed by malaria cadre and beneficiary, Loth Umbran. The village government’s support further motivates him to continue malaria prevention and control efforts.
“I am very happy and feel even more motivated to improve my fieldwork,” said Loth.
Adrian, Program Manager of SSR Yapukepa 1, also appreciated the commitment of the Tabeyan Village Government. According to him, mobile devices are essential tools in line with Malaria Perdhaki’s push for digitalization.
“The use of mobile devices helps cadres in mapping and data collection, aligned with our commitment to strengthening the vector cadre program,” Adrian explained.
He added that malaria elimination is a collective effort. Therefore, the support from Tabeyan Village is a concrete example of active involvement from every element in the fight against malaria.
